The people i have met at rensselaer during my four years is what has made this school so special to me. my major, emac, allowed me to take a truly rich mix of courses from professors of many different disciplines and backgrounds. rensselaer is a big enough school where i was able to meet people from many different countries and cultures, but small enough where most of my classmates became familiar faces. i feel so fortunate to have been able to play hockey here at rensselaer. there are so many genuinely beautiful people associated with rensselaer hockey from the coaching staff to friends of the program, and, of course, the fans. that being said, the relationships i've formed that i will cherish most deeply will be with those of my teammates. for four years i spent day in and day out loving my life with the guys on my team - whether it be practicing, playing games, eating dinners, or watching movies. these guys truly have become brothers to me." -- nick economakos `05.
